Really perfect base for one night. Recently refurbished hotel with peaceful location in the region. Location close enough to restaurant as well as Bilbao. Besides, easy to get to Museo de Las Encartaciones. Plenty of products for a varied breakfast...

What a fantastic stay! the location was great, nestled in the hills and providing a peaceful break from the hustle and bustle of the city. the rooms were incredibly clean, truly the cleanest I have ever encountered in a hotel. the hosts were absolutely lovely, making us feel like old friends despite the language barrier. We had dinner at the hotel for two nights and the home-cooked meals were delicious. If I ever find myself in the region again, I would definitely choose to stay here.
Honestly, there was nothing negative about our experience. Everything, from the location to the rooms to the hospitality of the hosts, was exceptional.

The twin room with a hot tub was absolutely amazing! After a long day of exploring, it was so nice to soak in the tub and just relax. I felt like I was in my own little spa retreat.
The soundproofing in the double room could have been better. It didn't bother me much, but if you're a light sleeper, you might hear some noise from the outside.

Our stay at Batzarki was an absolute steal - great value for the money! The room was perfect, and the attention to detail in terms of cleanliness and amenities was excellent. Plus, the location was ideal - easy access to Bilbao and a fine surrounding. But what really made our stay nice was the warm and personal service from the host family. They were kind, generous, and always had a smile on their faces. Truly was like home away from home.
The breakfast offerings could be a tad more varied.
